Riding Club Training
We have arranged a variety of training sessions and hope to offer something for everyone. Each set of training sessions runs up to a club or area competition to help those who want to compete prepare for the competition. But sessions will be grouped so that all experience and abilities are catered for and so all members are very welcome.The cost will be £10/hr for all sessions and will ideally be groups of 3.
With Tim Cheffings, in the indoor school at Downe Farm Witheridge, EX16 8QF
Sunday 29th January morning Dressage/flat work
Sunday 5th February morning Jumping/pole work
Sunday 12th February afternoon Dressage/flat work/Jumping/pole work (to suit group)
This block ends before the area Qualifiers on the weekend of February 18th/19th and Combined training qualifier on 4th March.
With Vanessa Cheffings in the indoor school at Downe Farm Witheridge Saturday 25th February Dressage/flat work
With Mary Ballie at Willicroft Farm, Rackenford, EX16 8D Sunday 11th March Jumping
These sessions come just before the early club competitions (18th March: dressage and 25th March: show jumping)

British Eventing Training Days - Prepare for the Event Season! (Open to non - BE members)
2-day Training Courses with Cindy Rawson at Glen Fern, near Dulverton, Devon
11-12 February, 2012 10-11 March, 2012 21-22 April, 2012
Learn new skills and deal with any competition issues under the guidance of BE Accredited Trainer and international event rider, Cindy Rawson.
Two day training course for a maximum of 8 riders. All levels welcome. Excellent facilities, lovely food and accommodation for riders and stabling for horses provided if required.
Video taping available for dressage and show jumping sessions as well as discussions on numerous equestrian topics geared toward competition. Ask a top event rider any question you like in a relaxed, informal setting!
Day 1- am- Semi private dressage sessions Afternoon - Group gymnastic jumping sessions and simulated cross- country
Day 2- Group cross-country training sessions at a local course Individual assessment and feedback
Price- £120/ horse and rider for tuition including xc schooling fees,(+£5 for April course at Pontispool) £50/night for stabling (straw bedding/shavings at cost) and rider accommodation including dinner and breakfast
